So my kiddo is 2yrs old and she has been wearing SKR since her first walkers. She's excited to put her shoes on and chooses her sneakers before anything else. (The Robyn style is preferred over Kristen tho, this style is hard for her to put on herself.) Be warned, these all show wear, FAST. I will wipe down the toe cap and sole (sidewall?) with a magic eraser occasionally to keep them looking decent. But the canvas is durable and they dry quickly in the sun. She sizes thru shoes so fast, so I can't comment on longer term durability, but for one season? It works.The fit of these shoes is excellent for kiddos who are picky about their footwear. The challenge we had is we chose the metallic fabric which starting rubbing off after one use. The shoes looked worn after one week of wear because this material came off. If you choose to purchase- look for fabric without the sheen.My grandchildren have been wearing kai run sneakers for years! Great variety of styles and designs! The latest pair I just purchased …. My oldest grandaughter…. Always grabs them first to wear!!!!!I've heard a lot of parents rant and rave about "see kai run shoes" so bought a pair for my very active 4 yr old preschooler. within 3-4 weeks I've noticed the rubber seams breaking and tearing. It's been about a month and now have to buy her another pair of durable sneakers.These shoes are very cute, and my daughter loves them. They were very comfortable…. But after a couple weeks of use (not every day) the rubber along the toe came off. Very disappointed since this brand is usually great.I can’t speak for the longer wear, these are new for us. But my daughter has slightly wide feet and we love the rubber toe shoes because she still crawls through tunnels and on play equipment, ruining even the best Adidas had to offer us in a month! One: these do run about half-3/4 of a size too small in length! which was a pleasant mistake on my part I misjudged her size since Adidas runs a full size small (fyi). So the bigger size I ordered ended up fitting her only a tid loose she actually wears a 13.5 but the 1.5 fit great for a little room to grow or with thick socks! Two: the rubber toe is NOT too tight in width which was terribly tight for her on the Sketchers twinkle toes (fyi again). And three: they are not too thick/hot which is nice for the warm AZ weather and kids like mine with hot feet. These are light and she loves them!I love See Kai Run shoes, but I rated these a 4 instead of a 5 because the ones that were pictured that I clicked on to order and the ones that arrived were different patterns. They were both gray and the ones we got fit well so we are keeping them, but they had little colored dots instead of the pretty flowers pictured.Beautiful and comfortable. My granddaughter loves them!
