I was worried they'd look like clown shoes. I'd ordered some similarly styled Puma's recently and they were so "lengthy". THESE Asics are much better in terms of breaking up the shape to the eye. The look pleasing at all angles, and the color pallete helps distinguish them from other "AF1 cousins". Overall a comfortable, well crafted, aesthetically designed sneaker with the charm of its heritage showcased proudly.The rubber in these mid soles are pretty sticky out of the box, which provide great traction in the gym when I play ping pong.Well I got these as a simple casual sneaker. Onitsuka Tiger is pretty much OG ASICS and I wanted to try this type of sneaker instead of a runner. These are pretty comfy and the leather will hug your foot. A lot of GSM reviews said to size down because they run large but I dont know if that's a good idea... but only if you have wide feet, these are a bit narrow! Since this is my first pair I got a men's 10, which leaves some wiggle room for my toes since I'm a true 9.5Unfortunately these didnt have a 9.5 so I opted for 10. Not bad at all!
