I bought many things from amazon , this is the first time i was so suprised , shoes and packaging was more then excellent … thanks to sellerVery timely and generous customer service. Upon hearing of my situation, they immediately offered a refund. The shoes were too narrow and a bit small. (Size 12). It’s too bad because they are of reasonable quality but ultimately unwearable for someone with feet of my size (I wear 13 in Nike). They simply don’t currently make shoes for large/wide feet. Looks childish compared to other sleeker style with the athletic sole.The shoes look very good - almost too good like in an artificial way. They have been dyed to look like the toes are worn and the shoes are older. They were pretty stiff when I first wore them, and they took several wearings before they got comfortable on my feet. But now that they are broken in, they feel fine. I didn't realize that the shoes had so many laces - yes, I know you can see it in the pictures - but that makes them look more like a sneaker than a dress shoe. However I see younger people (I'm 58) wearing them as dress shoes and they are pretty comfortable, so "when in Rome..." They count as dress shoes where I work, that's what matters. There isn't much arch support, but I don't wear them for walking, so no big deal. Lastly they are very well packaged, and the shoe-box is very thick and durable - perfect for storage of any kind - an extra bonus.This is a nice shoe yet it was two sizes too small to order if you’re an eighth order at 10 it’s a nice shoe casual shoes for walking as a professional casual look and appears to be well-made and is comfortable. If you’re going to get the shoe just order two sizes up the only reason I read this is a four instead of a five is the office sizing issue.I got these because I'm a leather worker and they look a lot like the design of the ones in the Build Your Own Sneakers kits. I really wanted to check out how they were made.I was impressed with the quality! The leather is actually good, not cardboardy or thin like I was expecting. The dye is attractive, and has some depth, as it is two-toned. It has a nice sheen to it, too. The stitching is even and the soles look great and have good support. Unlike the design-your-own kits, these have some padding built into the area below the ankle, which is going to be appreciated by anyone who needs to walk any kind of distance in these.These are a great price, and seem to compare favorably with the kits (though you don't have to do a single bit of work with these shoes!) or the more affordable models of leather Converse. I give them five stars.
