Beautiful finishing, true color I ordered half number up and fits perfect.I enjoy the comfort, color and good looks of this shoe. Easy on & off makes them a wonderful summer shoe especially when a sandal is not appropriate for the weather!Very cute, in the Gold metallic(which Frye calls Gunmetal, and it's stamped 'Gunmetal' on the box)! Also, very painful at first few tries. I got these in my usual size, 8.5, but there is not much room in the toes, which ended up being very painful after standing/walking for 20 minutes. Then I tried a no-show sock, which made them feel tighter, but also helped stretch them out a bit. They dug into the back of my heel, at the top edge, which caused red marks, and my feet were throbbing for at least an hour afterwards. I almost just gave them to my daughter, who is usually a size 8. They weren't as tight on her, but she said they weren't comfortable, either. The main problem with this shoe is the narrow AND flat part of the tip of the toes. I've had this problem with Fryes before and had to have the toe area stretched. The suede, with leather lining on this shoe is thin enough that it will stretch a bit. I planned on wearing them without a sock, but my feet stick to the insole so much that it's uncomfortable. I found that cutting off the front/toe area of an old nylon trouser sock, to cover just the toes and ball of the foot, made all the difference! Now I can wear them. I would say if you have a wide foot at all(mine is regular width, and thin) to go up a half size, maybe even a whole size. These shoes have a small amount of cushioning, with minimal to zero arch support. My ankles do turn inward while standing in these. I wouldn't want to wear them standing or walking for very long periods of time. I got an exceptional deal on these, sold as overstock, but they weren't indicated that they were not first quality. I don't consider the ones I got First Quality, based on the unequal amount of rubber on the bumper of the back portion of the shoe. If I had paid more than $50, I would have returned them. But I can live with it for the price. See pics. These were made in China, and do have the Frye logo stamped on the outside by the heel.I wear a 9.5 and it fits perfect with enough room for sock liners. I’ve worn them during my travels abroad and they held up really well, especially on cobblestone streets. These are great slip-on shoes to take my dog for a quick walk around the block and then go directly to work. The tan color was my first purchase and afterwards I got a pair of baby blue. The only complaint about the light blue color shoes is that it stains easily.I would love to purchase different colors of these shoes but they are rather pricey. Otherwise these are great shoes with supple leather. Highly recommend for anyone how wants a casual look without having to resort to tennis shoes. The toe box horror stories are true. I have two different sized feet- my left foot is a 10.5 and my right is a 10. Based on the reviews I purchased an 11 in the camel color. My right foot (10) fits great, my larger foot not so much. How can a leather shoe cause so much pain on my big toe? It’s weird and unfortunate bc the color and style of the shoe are lovely. I’ll keep them bc I know leather sometimes takes a minute to break in but I’m gonna cry about that toothache in my toe the whole time.*update- after a pedicure and a day of wearing them with socks, these lovely shoes have gained a star. With a couple little arch support inserts and a couple more days of breaking in the leather, these will be go to shoes.* second update. They break in so beautifully. They get all the stars. I just bought another color.I read a lot of reviews saying that these ran super small, so I ordered half a size up. Then I ended up exchanging them for my true size because they were too large. I think it must depend on the width of your foot, and specifically your forefoot, because they do narrow quite a bit at the toe. But I have a narrow foot anyway, and have a little extra room in my regular size. I ordered the dark taupe color and it's very pretty, not quite as warm a tone as the one pictured. The leather is soft, and the sole is comfortable right from the start. I'm very happy with my purchase!Love them. Lightweight and comfortable but I felt that they stretched out a bit. It’s most likely a natural stretch in the quality leather. Going to buy 1/2 size smaller in the brown and see what happens.I read the reviews and decided to get a half size bigger than my normal shoe size, which was a good choice. Fits my foot well but probably tight on a wider foot. The leather isn’t as soft as I expected but still nice and I do like it. Overall happy with the shoe.Excellent shoesThese were comfortable right out of the box and arrived as expected. I ordered my normal size. I have narrow feet, but I can see if you had wider feet across the upper foot that these might be restricting. I’m sure they will stretch however. I’m happy with the quality. Although the insole does come out, the shoes do lack the structure that is ideal for orthotics. I will still give it a whirl but I wanted to mention that as I was trying to search for this before purchasing. I am planning to keep them regardless and would recommend.I have owned two pairs of these before and wanted to snag another because they were on sale for $134. There is a noticeable difference in quality between my previous pairs (see photo). The insoles of the Amazon pair are cheap leather, they don't smell like quality leather. They are very good looking fakes or they have changed their manufacturer. The left ones are my originals, they have a very cushy insole where as the Amazon ones feel cheaper and do not have the same plush. These are going back.Comfortable, light and well made as are all of my Frye footwear. I have narrow feet and these fit nicely. The leather was not as soft and supple as my other Frye shoes but is still quite nice.I have a narrow size 7 foot and these fit perfectly! Comfortable right out of the box, and that never seems to happen anymore! I would buy one of every colour- eventually as they are pricey! But if you like to walk and want to have a comfortable shoe that doesn't pinch or scrape the back of your heel then these are the perfect shoe!
